Enabling Actions Bar in an embedded power BI report

Hi,

Totally new to Power BI so excuse my ignorance. I have an Oracle APEX application which I have an embedded PBI report. I want top enable the Actions menu to enable the native print to PDF functionality.

I have followed the steps here :

https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/javascript/api/overview/powerbi/embed-for-organization#action-bar

and the config settings are appearing correctly as you would expect

however there is no sign of the actions bar.

I have no other menu bars etc, my report looks like this if it's any help:

Am I missing something here?

    Hi  leeburgess ,

According to the official documentation you provided, we can observe that there are prerequisites described for enabling the action bar: To provide full action bar functionality, users must be granted the UserState.ReadWrite.All permission for the application in Azure Active Directory (Azure AD).

You should conveniently follow the official documentation to configure the corresponding permissions for the AAD application. If you have already done the configuration, could you please provide a screenshot for us to check?”

    Hi Anonymous ,

Thanks for the response - we are not using Azure AD. This is hosted in OCI and users are Federated and authenticated from there and the reports are embedded in the app. We have been served the BI reports from a third party so I am not 100% if that means they are using Azure at their end somehow, do you think that is a possibility?

    Thanks again,
