Empty PBIP File when repo cloned to local machine

Hi,

I have implmented the new developer mode solution for some reports I have connected to a live dataset. I am able to push any changes done in the PBIP file to the remote repo but when a colleague clones the repo on their local machine and opens the PBIP file it is empty, like they open a new instance of PBI Desktop.

Has anyone else encounted this issue?

Hello guys, I've been dealing with a situation regarding PBIP file . I've generated my PBIP file based on my pbix report in my local machine then  commit and push my repo to Azure devOps. Everything got pushed, proper dataset and report folder got generated, GITignore file too except the PBIP file generated locally from the pbix. IT looks like PBIP file is not systematically pushed. any thought or similar experience? if so is there any reason?

HI @kpia,

What type of changes are you applied to the pbi b files? If you are working on Diagram view, current these type of change will be ignored. In addition, did these the changes apply from external tools?
If that is the case, these changes will not direclty sync to the file. You need to re-open the file to get the last changes, if you haven't re-open the file and directly push to remote server, they may case the issue and lost these changes.
