We have implemented an Embedded application following the model described in the App Owns data approach.
It is working fine for most scenarios. However, when we try to display an Embedded Dashboard that contains more than 2-3 live report tiles, the Dashboard fails to render and the light gray Power BI logos shows where the tiles should appear. No other error is reported. If the Dashboard is displayed on the Power BI site or in the Power BI Mobile APP, it renders fine.
Is this a known limitiation? We are currently using the MS Power BI Pro Trial license. Would this be resolved by upgrading to a Premium subscription?

Based on my test, the App Owns data works to render a dashboard with 2-3 live tiles(see tiles with lightening icon).
What is the outpout in your browser's console and network tab(eg, for Chrome, press F12, then you'd see those tabs)? For further investigation, I'd suggest you capture the network traffic by fiddler and raise a support ticket with that.

Thanks for your response. I don't think the use of live tiles are our issue. To clarify, we are seeing a rendering problem for a Dashboard when we try to pin more than 2-3 Report Tiles to a dashboard using the "Pin Live Page" feature when viewing a Report.
As an example, using the Customer Profitability Sample, see below the result when we try to Pin all 3 pages (Team Scorecard, Industry Margin Analysis, Executive Scorecard) as Live Pages to a dashboard and then view the dashboard embedded:
The Dashboard renders correctly when viewed in Power BI.com site. It also renders fine in our Embedded solution if I remove the third Live Page tile (Executive Scorecard) from the Dashboard.
Does this work for you?
