Embed report in web applications without using Iframes, but instead just using Java Script

Hi,

We would like to know if we can embed our reports on a web page WITHOUT using Iframes, but instead just using Java Script. I have come across some articles which shows the use of the JavaScript API for embedding but it is not clear if it can completely exclude iframes.
