Hi,
We have created a push dataset as documented by power BI and also pushed the data regularly and can see the paginated report from power BI without any issues. But when the paginated report is embedded in our app (created in angular) we are getting the error like I cannot connect to the "Analysis services" and it's failing to load the report. We can embed the normal report without any issues but not the paginated report.
We also tried embedding the paginated report with the normal dataset and that's also working fine. Embed report with push dataset is not working.
Any help on this will be much appreciated
Thank you in advance
I am having the same exact issue. I have created a push dataset and used power bi service to create a Paginated Report. It shows up fine when I access it in the workspace but throws an error when embedding.
This is part of the error. I am using a service principal that has Admin access to the workspace and everything is under the same workspace.
"title": "An unexpected error occurred",
"message": "Connection open intermittent error while reading in Analysis Services, needs retry.",

UPDATE:
When I authenticate with a master user and use Aad as tokenType, the embedded report loads up properly. This already is in contract with the first bullet point, i.e. You must use a service principal. Master user isn't supported.
Hi @KDESU ,
The following link is the supported data sources for Paginated reports, and please check whether it hit any following limitations.
