Embed Power BI report in Oracle Application
- Anonymous2 years ago
HI user_bi,
If you mean the 'publish to web' feature to share your report. They did not require any license, but it also not include any security feature and options.
Publish to web from Power BI - Power BI | Microsoft Learn
BTW, the basic share feature also required Pro license. So if you work with power bi embedded feature and not assign the contents to the premium capacity it will required user has pro license to view the shared contents.

yes, either each user needs a Pro license or you need to have a Premium Capacity SKU or Fabric SKU. Not sure if EM SKUs are still a thing.

Anonymous i do have a PRO license, however i want to embedded the reports in another application including all the security and RLS.
this Application is accessed by all the memebers in the organization. I have assigned the RLS in the report i want it to get reflected when the user opens the application from their login.
for this does each user require a PRO license to view the embedded report ?
after conducting reserch i find that both requiring and not requiring license works but idk which way works best for me and how
thank you in advance
