Drilling down in a matrix not showing all data

Hi Everyone,

I have a powerbi report with a matrix visual. For columns I am using Year, Month and Week of the Month fields and I have data from 1993 to 2023 but drilling down to week does not give me data past 2001. Has anyone experienced this before? Please let me know.

Thanks in advance!

Hi @Consultantlk,

Can you please share a pbix or some dummy data that keep raw data structure with expected results? It should help us clarify your scenario and test to coding formula.

@Anonymous Please see below

Initially I get data from 2000 to 2028

Drilling down to months gives me data from 2000 to 2008

Drilling down to weeks give me data from 2000 to 2001

Is there a limitation on the number of columns I can have in a matrix?

HI @Consultantlk,

I suppose power bi will auto-change the density and layouts of values based on current field type and records amounts.

Did any horizontal scroll bar of the matrix visuals that you can use to switch between different parts of items? If that is the case, I think the drill feature works as expected.
