Data is not displaying on Stacked column chart

Hi,

Could you please help in resolving the issue. One of our dashboard is using 'Stacked column chart' visual which suddenly not displaying Bars on visual. The dashboard is having Date slicer from 1st of Feb 2020 to till date. If I don't make Date selection, the bars on the visual are not displaying from the 1st of June (last 3 months). If I make date selection the bars are displaying data for the last 3 months.

The issue is if I don't make any filter selection on date the dashboard is not displaying data for last 3 months. I have attached screenshots of the issue.

Hi @craghubi2020 ,

I see that the screenshot on the left shows the data bar for June, July and August is not shown when the slicer selected the dates from Feb 1st to today. The screenshot on the right shows that the slicer didn't select any date and all of the data is displayed. Now the problem is why the data for some of the dates are not displayed when the slicer selects a certain time period? Is my understanding correctly? Is the date field apply on the slicer and the date field apply on the X-axis of the Stacked column chart visual from the same field of a table? Is there any other visual-level filter applied? Could you please share some sample data applied to the slicer and Stacked column chart and the correct results? Thank you.

Best Regards

Click on the filter icon in your visual to confirm which filters are currently applied to it.

You may also want to update your Power BI Desktop settings.  These look like rather old menu items.
