Data fetching stuck at loading data to model on Power BI desktop

Hello everyone,

 

On our Power BI gateway server I am unable to fetch data from any of the data source from Power BI desktop. It is stuck at 'Loading data to model'. All the required ports are opened and the server is up and running. Just to confirm this we tried to install Power BI desktop on a different server with same permissions as our gateway server to fetch the data and we were able to fetch the data within seconds.

 

Any ideas on how we can resovle this?

    Hi Anonymous ,

     

    Are you talking about gateway or report server?

    According to your description, this issue only occurs in a specific server.

    It's hard for me to reproduce your issue. Please provide more information about this server. Maybe I can help you troubleshoot
