Dashboard tile does not keep the visual I choose
I have a dashboard with some pin tiles from a report but also from asking questions about the data.
The conclusion presents itself as a bar chart, but I want it as pie chart. I select this in the visualisation, yet when it pins it goes back to the bar chart.
How do I make it stay as the pie chart?

As far as I know, for dashboard, the kind of the visual will not sync when you change the visual kind in report.
Here I have a test, I pin a bar chart to dashboard.
Then I change the visual kind to a pie chart and pin to the dashboard again.
This tile will not replace the old one and the old one still show as a bar chart in dashboard.
So if you want to show pie chart in dashboard, you can pin the new one and remove the old one.

Hi Rico - thank you for your response, but this hasn't solved my problem. The tile I have created is new.
So I "ask a question about your data" and it automatically puts it into a bar chart. I use the Visualizations toolbar on the right to change it to a pie chart. Pin it. Go to dashboard and it has pinned as the bar chart. How do I stop it from doing that and keep as the pie chart?
