Custom pop-up dialog box before navigation table screen

Hi all,

I am working on a custom data connector for Power BI Desktop and was wondering if it's possible using M language to dynamically create a pop-up dialog box after the user authenticates themself and before the navigation table screen appears.

From what I've seen in the forums and Google searches, the closest thing I can find is creating a pop-up window in the visual, but that's not what I'm after.

Any help or pointers in the right direction would be appreciated!
