Hi,
I received a confirmation from "Seller Dashboard Team" approving the latest version of my custom visual. I upgraded from version 1.2.0 to 1.3.0. The market place also shows the version as 1.3.0.
But everytime I create a new report, I get version 1.2.0 (both in Power BI Desktop or in Power BI Service). Anyone can suggest why this is happening and how I can use the latest version.
Thanks
Nishant

Hi @Nishantjain ,
If you publish an update of your custom visual, Microsoft is gradualy releasing the update to the production environment. It can take +/- 2 weeks before it is available. Microsofts releases the visual first in their tenant to test it and after no issues it will be released to the production tenants.

Thanks for responding. It would be good if the marketplace was not updated with the latest version as it is confusing my users.
Thanks

Hi @Nishantjain ,
I know your pain. It would be great if both atre released at the same moment.
But that is something AppSource is not supporting.
Usually I wait until the new version is available before I start my communication.
Another option is to add the new feature description in a 'comming soon' section and after the visual is available update the content again: you can change the AppSource listing without submitting a new version of you visual.
