I understand that it is possible to create a service principal for an application registration, add that service principal to a workspace and then authenticate using it in order to perform operations in that workspace like adding datasets, reports, etc.
Is it possible to create a workspace using this form of authentication?
Hi @Anonymous ,
Have you succeeded?

@v-lionel-msft - I've been playing around with this, and it looks like it is possible. I ran into problems creating workspaces which led me to believe that it was not, but it turned out that the service principal I was using was not a member of a group with workspace creation enabled.
Hi @Anonymous ,
This should not work, although there is no documentation to point it out.
Best regards,
Lionel Chen
