Connect Tableau to Power BI dataset

    Hi Anonymous ,

     

    According to your description, your organization has premium capacity, which is one of the prerequisites, and you need to have pro license.Check if you have pro license and install the latest Analysis Services client libraries.

      hi Liang

      Thanks for getting back to me. 

      our company has the premium, i have a pro user license and i have also installed the latest drivers of analysis services (from the Tableau site). 

       

      I have used the same workspace connection string with a excel workbook and i was able to see the datasets.

        Hi Anonymous ,

         

        Will this be caused by azure firewall?Check if azure firewall is blocking this connection.

        If the problem persists, you can create a support ticket to help you.
