Hi all,
This is work related and therefore I cannot show any data so this might be an abstract request for help given the lack of specifics. But if anyone had any ideas it would be greatly appreciated!
I have a table in Power BI that crashes when I bring in a particular field from a table that is built in Visual Studio. I get the 'visual resources exceeded' error message. The field is imported from a table built in a model in Visual Studio, and the original table is imported from SQL. When the table was imported into VS it went through a variety of changes in Power Query, as you can see below.
Could it be the case that the amount of edits to the table in Power Query could cause the fields in Power BI to overload the visual?
The original table only has 722 rows, and the edited table only has 141, so I can't see how the size of the table itself would be causing issues.
Or are there other issues I'm not aware of that could lead to a field crashing a visual due to being too heavy on resources?
Thanks!
