Clear other visual filters

When I click in empty space on a built-in visual, it clears any visual filters that were created by any other built-in visual. Is it possible to provide this functionality for a custom visual? I can clear visual filters created by my custom visual with `applyJsonFilter`, but I'm not sure how to go about clearing filters created by other visuals. Clicking in empty space in built-in visuals also doesn't clear the filter created by my custom visual. Is there a way to declare the filter so that it is cleared?
