I have 2 heat maps, one with parent customer and one with child customer. When I click on the parent customer, I want the child customer heat map to only show the children, not just highlight them. I ahve been floundering aeound with page, report filters buit just can't seem to get it to do what I want.
I am using PowerBI desktop.

As far as I know, the heat map in ArcGIS Maps is not the case. Check if Edit Interactions helps.
Download the latest version and select one visual, then you'll find it under Format tab.
I couldn't find 'Edit Interactions' anywhere on any menu. The link you provided notes that the icon has changed, but I search every menu and didn't see anything that referenced 'interactions'

Meant 'TreeMap' It is called a heat map in other software
