This is the same issue I'm having, although I didn't realize creating the report in the desktop report builder would cause a different result.
I'm assuming not ... since there isn't anything here ... but did you ever figure this out?
No,. I abandoned paginated reports entirely and found workarounds to use Power BI Desktop for all our reporting.
