Can Lasso button border be visible after selection

I am using the lasso button to select some points on a map visual in power bi. I would like the lasso button border to be shown and retained once I select something on map so that we know the portion selected while prseting it to leadership. Is this possible?

Hi @Dhiraj_Burli ,

What kind of map visual are you using? If you are using the supplied map visual, when you select certain data point(s), the selected data point(s) will be highlighted and the other data points will be grayed out as shown in the following screenshot.

Additionally, you mentioned a ‘lasso button’ in your query. Do you mean this feature:Lasso select for datapoints - Power Platform Release Plan | Microsoft Learn? Could you kindly provide further details or a screenshot to clarify this feature? Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.

Best Regards

Yes, I am using the supplied map visual by Power BI. It does grey out the points not selected but our requirement is to have a border for the area selected which I am not able to do. I don't think there is an option but any workaround would be appreciated.
