Can I use Fabric to centralise measures?

Hi All,

Having a central data source is one thing, but when we want to utilise the same measures again and again (across different reports) and have version control on these measures, I have not been able to find a solution for this.

First, has anyone solved this problem?

Second, is it possible to somehow use the new functionality in Fabric to achieve this?

What a great question. It touches on the difference between Data Warehouses (which kind include measures) and Data Lakes (which kind don't), on Data Governance, Stewardship, Provenance and Ownership. Throw in a little Purview and you have yourself a party.

Anyway - can it be done? Maybe. Will it be done? I'll believe it when I see it.
