Hi,
I have a Matrix with two levels of rows.
The subtotals summarize the first row-level and the Grand Total summarizes the subtotals.
I wonder if there is a way to create Totals of the second row-level and show them inside the same Matrix.
Furthermore, I want to have something like an unfolding button next to the original Grand Total.
Can anybody help?
Kind regards
Hi @Greg_Deckler ,
thank you for your answer and sorry for the confusion.
Since I'm not sure how to present my problem with actual data, I've created an Excel template which you can see below.
I just basically want Power BI to calculate the totals from a given Matrix and show the result in that matrix.
Kind regards
Hi @V-lianl-msft ,
this looks pretty good, thx. But is there a way to show the measure in rows below the given data instead of showing it in a new column?
Kind regards
Unlikely, unless you rebuild the table model.
@Anonymous Not certain, but maybe MM3TR&R?
Otherwise, Sorry, having trouble following, can you post sample data as text and expected output?
Not really enough information to go on, please first check if your issue is a common issue listed here: https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Community-Blog/Before-You-Post-Read-This/ba-p/1116882

The most important parts are:
1. Sample data as text, use the table tool in the editing bar
2. Expected output from sample data
3. Explanation in words of how to get from 1. to 2.
