Building visuals and using filters

Hello all,

I'm trying to do a comparison of Sales QTD and QTD for the previous year but whenever I use a quarter and year filter, it shows only the sales QTD for the select period and does no comparison.

please how can anyone help?

you need to create the comparison measure yourself.  For true QTD you also need to have a flag in your calendar table that marks which days of prior periods should be considered. Otherwise you would compare to full prior periods.

Have you written DAX measures yet?  If you like more help please provide sanitized sample data that fully covers your issue. Paste the data into a table in your post or use one of the file services. Please show the expected outcome.
