I´m trying to embed according to https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/developer/embedded/embed-sample-for-customers?tabs=net-cor... but Step 8 fails at Building due to several errors like this...
error NU1101: Unable to find package Microsoft.Web.LibraryManager.Build. No packages exist with this id in source(s): ....
Were you using a report with a dataset in a different workspace? I am getting this same issue and I think that is why, it works fine if they are in the same workspace. Did you find an answer or were you getting the error for a different reason?

One step further: I get no build errors anymore, but when trying to run IIS I get:

I did change appsettings.json fastidiously (!!!) according to https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/developer/embedded/embed-sample-for-customers?tabs=net-fra...
I simply do not understand why it says "make changes to the appsettings.json file". I did! I checked for errors multiple times!

Did you use sample file from Power BI developer samples ?

What kind of authentication method did you select, Service principal or Master User?
