Hi All,
I have started to use the export costs function within Azure and visullising it in Power BI, but what would be really useful is to find out if the resources are being utilised but I am not sure how or if you can gain the 'overview' data in Azure across every billing item, but only as a single row like max cpu past 7 days, max ram past 7 days. it would need to span the whole company.
I know this is a bit more Azure question then Power BI
Thanks
Andy
Hi,
We found that the power bi cost connector kept crashing and again it only gives the costs, i have managed to get this out of Azure but I just need to get the cpu & ram usage
HI @Anonymous,
Maybe you can try to use rest API to get the VM usage metrics:
Get Azure Virtual Machine usage data using the REST API - Azure Virtual Machines | Microsoft Docs
In addition, if the connect app failed to get some detailed information, you can also report this to the app author teams.

HI @Anonymous,
According to your description, it seems like you want to check the usage metrics of your report/capacity. If that is the case, you can take a look at the following links about usage metrics:
Monitor usage metrics in classic workspaces - Power BI | Microsoft Docs

I want to check the usage metrics of all VM's SQL boxes etc in the whole of our Azure subscription
HI @Anonymous,
Please take a look at the following documents about the 'Azure Cost Management' connect app if it meets your requirements:
Analyze Azure costs with the Power BI App | Microsoft Docs
