Automate updating of data source credentials

Hi, 

We have a request from the business to automate the deployment of reports for different environments. This was possible using for SSRS reports and shared data sources but I want to know if it is possible for paginated reports that use embedded data sources and Power BI workspaces.

In short we want to be able to take an rdl report and update the data source and credentials for that report and deploy it to another workspace. Deployment pipelines is not the solution as we have five environments and on some occasions even upto 7 and for deploymnet pipelines you are limited to three environments.
