Auto Refresh Powerbi data in Powerpoint

You can configure the add-in to automatically refresh while in slide show. please read this blg post with the details: https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/supporting-continuous-slide-shows-in-power-bi-storytelling-add-in/
Once you set the refresh frequncy, it will automatically pull data from Power BI while running in slideshow, without any human interaction.

Hi, So I'm facing a issue regarding this topic. I have the PPT embed with the PBI report and it refresh only when I open the file and go through each page. But I'm trying to do an auto refresh without open the file and then sending PDF file from it. How can I make the PPT refresh for this purpose?
I'm using the following flow, but as I said the ppt still without refreshing the Power BI visuals:

For you scenario I would suggest to use a Power BI API that the lets you export Power BI Report as static PDF: https://powerbi.microsoft.com/sv-se/blog/export-report-to-pdf-pptx-and-png-files-using-power-bi-rest-api/ and not the Power BI add-in, which was created for more dynamic presentation.
