Audit log mismatch with REST call Vs Commandlet

I opened a case with MSFT today regarding this issue, figured I'll share it here for anyone to shed some light.  I'm getting a different answerset when I run Auditlog activity for the same day, almost feels like a partial output.  Pleas see my screenshot, its self explnatory

Has anyone experienced this anomaly?

We identified the issue is to do with Web/REST API can only make a call to fetch all activities within same hour where as commandlet can make a call for all activities within the same day.  I asked Microsoft support to put that in the considerations and limitations section for the REST api doc.
