Assistance Required in Paginated Report/SSRS Report
Hi,Heena_9980400 .I am glad to help you.
It looks like you're experiencing a problem with URL parameters that are too long!
I found documentation on this, and unfortunately it's a known limitation.
Pass a report parameter within a URL for a Power BI paginated report - Power BI | Microsoft Learn
Here are my suggestions
1. Minimize the number of parameters selected, especially those with a high character count.
2. Use short names: Use shorter names for parameters to reduce the length of the URL.
I hope the following issue will be helpful to you.
Solved: Re: Cannot view report on powerbi report server wi... - Microsoft Fabric Community
3. It seems that modifying the configuration file is also a good solution
SSRS report - Invalid URI: The Uri string is too long. - Microsoft Q&A
Resolving the Maximum Request Length Exceeded Exception in SSRS - MSSQLTips.com
If you need to modify SSRS related configuration files, please make a backup beforehand to avoid losing important files.
I hope my suggestions give you good ideas, if you have any more questions, please clarify in a follow-up reply.
Best Regards,
Carson Jian,

hi Anonymous ,
The suggested solution is not working. Are there any alternatives I can try? Instead of navigating to the child report through that link, is it possible to achieve the same functionality within the current report, like using a drill-down feature or any other approach?
Looking forward to your suggestions!
Best regards,
