Hello everyone
I would like to know if there are alternative ways of publishing a power bi report against the service without employing the PowerBI Desktop app. I'm thinking of methods such as publishing through powershell script or c# code based on the power bi api. I do remember seeing something like that some time ago but my research wasn't successful.

@v-micsh-msft Yes, you are correct. I'm looking for an alternative way of publishing the pbix files without using the desktop app Publish option.

I am not sure I fully understand the "without employing the PowerBI Desktop app" part, but if you would like to publish the Report through the Power BI API, the possible way is to publish the corresponding PBIX file.
There is a blog talking about the similar process (include the export/Import PBIX API, and the Clone report API), using PowerShell scripts.
Currenlty through the Power BI API, we could perform the following actions with the reports:
