Adding rows to a table for powerbi embed using Nuget

For posting rows using Nuget (for powerbi embedded), what are the differences between the two parameters below, and what should I provide for them? An example for requestMessage and customHeaders will be helpful. Thanks 🙂

requestMessage, type: Object

customHeaders, type: Dictionary<String, List<String>>

Documentation for posting rows can be found here:

as far as i know the requestMessage is the object used for the data you want to add.

the way i did this was took a newtonsoft JSON object and deserialized it to an object: (data being my JSON object)

object dataObj = Newtonsoft.Json.JsonConvert.DeserializeObject<Object>(data.ToString());

 as for the customHeaders as far as i know its for adding to the header of the http request that the api will create. i think it can be used to add scope, roles and others configurations but I'm not 100% sure because the documentation is still very much lacking. Also note that its only optional.

For the Power BI embedded REST API, how do I add rows to a table?

@Berty

AFAIK, there's no REST API to add rows for Power BI Embedded, you can submit your idea at Power BI Ideas and vote it up.
