Add data to IFC/BIM file?

Im using PowerBI to view a BIM-model through a IFC file.

Now I want to add some information (basically just some notes) to a certain piece/area of the model. 

I want to know if it is possible to do this? Or does Power BI only support viewing the model?

    Hi! How are you able to view a BIM model using PowerBi? I have read that at the moment PowerBi cannot open ifc files. Anything that you can explain about how you were able to accomplish this will be very helpful.
