Hello,
I am using ALM Toolkit for the first time.
My customer has two datasets in their workspace, one which has a corporate background and one which does not. They develop reports predominantly against the corporate background dataset. Over time there have been changes made to the non-background dataset and they want these changes brought into the other model to re-standardise them.
I am good to go but there are 'lineage tags' showing up as differences. It's possible to ignore these in the options.
There is nothing about lineage tags in the GIT documentation for ALM, I imagine it's a feature updated since the docs were written.
1)
If I amend the settings to 'ignore' the lineage tags does this mean they will be preserved in the target file and not oversaved?
2)
Even if I did oversave the lineage tags, would anything actually break due to this? Am I worrying about nothing?
Any insight welcome.
Hi @WHH ,
Sorry that I'm not familiar with ALM toolkit, maybe you can try to create a ticket in GitHub to seek professional help.
