Hi,
We have around 30 reports built on powerbi.com. These reports share the same powerbi dataset.
Say we start building new powerbi reports (say 10 new reports) in powerbi desktop and these reports use the same powerbi dataset.
Then I upload these reports to powerbi.com.
If I refresh the datraset, will all my new reports in powerbi.com get the new data?
Many Thanks
hi,@daxu
When you open pbix file by powerbi desktop, If the dataset has updated, you need to click Refresh button,
Best Regards,

Hi,
I just tested this and seems it is 50% no.
Say I have two reports A, B on powerbi.com and a DataSet D1 and both reports A, B use dataset D1 on powerbi.com.
If I refresh DataSet D1 (e.g. add a new field), then report A, B will get the field.
However, if I download report A and open it in powerbi desktop, then adding a new field to the shared dataSet D1. my report A in powerBI desktop will not see the new field.
Is this the expected behavior? Is it possible that my desktop version will also see the field (i.e. sync the dataset)?
Thanks
