wildcard slicer

Im sure this is going to be simple but I cant figure it out.

I have a table with thousands of rows.  I want to add a slicer to filter this down on demand but rather than it listing every single value in the colum and the perosn viewing the report needs to tick every singe one they want to filter on is there a way to make this a kind of free text field which supports wildcards?

So for example instead of getting the entire list and having to tick ServerA, ServerB, ServerC, Server D and so on I can simply put in Server* and it returns everything starting with Server.  Surely this can be done in a simple way?  It needs to be on deman
