why is (1.1-1)>0.1 giving me "TRUE" when it should be "FALSE"

Hi,
This query might feel silly but it is driving my crazy, happy if someone could help me understand.

When i put this equation in dax (1.1-1)>0.1 it says "True". Shouldnt it be giving "False" as both equals 0.1.

When i give (1.1-1)=0.1, then it gives "False".

Please help!

@mlsx4  Yes, i have just passed the values in the measure. For. eg even if i give

1.1000000000-1.000000000>0.1000000000, it still gives 'TRUE'

Can you put the formula here?

@mlsx4 Hi, please put this (1.1-1)>0.1 in a power bi column/measure and check . It gives True. But if i put the same equation in Excel it gives False

Hi @priya_rajendran

You're right. And what is more, if you do (1.1-

-1.000000000000000000000000001), then it gives False

Hi @priya_rajendran

Have you checked decimal values? I mean if the first 1.1 is 1.1000001, then it will always be higher than 0.1
