when connecting to a SharePoint lists my column headers don't match the list

When i connect to a SharePoint list my headers from the list don't pull through in their entirety, or not at all.

 

One column should have read "16/17 Business Rates collected for this quarter", but when PowerBI grabbed it, it came through as "h34a"
