what if parameter direct query

does the new august update what if parameter not work on direct query?
please advise

Hi Nikki,
According to my test (Sql Server DB), the What If parameter isn't available in Direct Query mode. What if parameter creates a new table actually, while no new table can be created in Direct Query mode. Maybe this is one part of the reason.
