To MS Account I have signed in and still facing the issue. Refer the attachment. I'm just trying to connect data in Excel which is in my OneDrive for Business. Even tried with Windows Credential too, but still facing the issue.
Hi @tjayapal ,
There are no recent related errors. You can try to connect to SharePoint in the power bi service to check if it works. Or update power bi desktop to the latest version.

Hey @tjayapal ,
the link(type) you are using is not working from inside Power BI, this type of link is created with the intention to share access. Here you will some more information about this: Deciphering the SharePoint Online/OneDrive sharing links – One Minute Office Magic
Next, you have to use Microsoft Account as the file is cloud-based, Windows Authentication is only used to connect to on-premises data sources.
How to get the proper link is described here: How to simply connect Power BI to Excel file stored on SharePoint – Trainings, consultancy, tutorial...
Even if the article is talking about files stored in a SharePoint library it also works for files stored in onedrive. If you think this is complicated (not to say mad), you are right. But this is how it works.
Hopefully, this helps to tackle your challenge.
Regards,
Tom
Hey, thank you for your message, for the past two months, I'm using the power BI with the same excel sheet and it was working fine. From last week this issue started to come and I was waiting for it to automatically solve, now trying to get help from here as the issue is not solved yet.
Are you able to access it directly? Just to be sure that it is really not an authentication issue
Yes I can able to access the path both in browser and explorer and open the file.
Join the community in Stockholm for expert Microsoft Fabric learning including a very exciting keynote from Arun Ulag, Corporate Vice President, Azure Data.
