Hi @prayele ,
Check if the Visual is Disabled
In Power BI Desktop, go to:
File > Options and settings > Options > Security
Under Custom Visuals, make sure "Enable Custom Visuals" is checked > Restart Power BI Desktop and see.
Update the Chiclet Slicer
Go to Visualizations pane, right-click the Chiclet Slicer visual, and click Remove.
Then go to Get more visuals, search for Chiclet Slicer, and install the latest version.
Sometimes older or corrupt versions do not render properly in Desktop.
Check for Errors in Desktop
See if there’s a yellow warning icon or error where the visual should appear.
Also check under View > Performance analyzer for error logs.
Some organizations use Group Policy or security settings that block custom visuals in Desktop.
Test the same .pbix file on a personal or test machine not joined to the corporate domain.
If this post helps, then please give us ‘Kudos’ and consider Accept it as a solution to help the other members find it more quickly.
Thank you.
Chaithra E.
small correction to my question it is Chiclet Slicer i have used, i have tried above but it did not work, it is still not showing in the local but visible when published to service
It seems that you've set up some bookmarks, and the persistent filter is enabled in the service. As a result, the active bookmark in the service differs from the one in the desktop version. Click this button in the service to reset the report state to the published version.
You can also display the selection pane to see if there are hidden visuals.
@prayele ,
Request you to go to View > Selection Pane and see if the visual exist or not.
If yes, please click on the visual and go to Format> Bring Forward.
Please let me know if this didn't help.
