Hi, @Shreesefwere

To migrate users and groups to a cloud-based service using Windows authentication, you will need to follow these general steps:

  • 1. Set up a trust relationship between your on-premises Active Directory (AD) and the cloud-based service. This will allow the cloud-based service to authenticate users using your on-premises AD.
  • 2. Configure the cloud-based service to use your on-premises AD as the identity provider.
  • 3. Migrate your users and groups to the cloud-based service. This can typically be done using a migration tool provided by the cloud-based service.
  • 4. Verify that the users and groups have been successfully migrated and that they can authenticate to the cloud-based service using their on-premises AD credentials.
  • 5. Configure the cloud-based service to sync with your on-premises Power BI service. This will ensure that reports and other content in the cloud-based service are consistent with what is in your on-premises Power BI service.
