use temp table inside power bi?

Can I use temp tables here in the sql statement?

I wanted to do select into #a

Because I end up using a lot of subquerys and I prefer temp tables for readability…

I think yes you can use Temp Tables. But not sure.

I guess that a temp table might not be your final table. Temp tables might be in the query just to store the values temporarily to get the final result.

Also if you temp tables are stored in the DB, they are again similar to your actual tables right?

By that logic, they should be able to be used in Power BI.
