understand difference of display

I need a display in a matrix with the + before the first level in order to display the sublevel as below

I have another report where it looks different, and i didn't arrive to solve it

Hello! When you have your matrix visual selected, go to the format pane, expand Row headers, then toggle the x/- icons switch to on:
