    First of all, please provide more information about your data model. Based on the details you have shared, I assume you may need to create a bridge table by combining all the IDs from the revenue and expense dimensions.

    I have given it a try, and below are the file and screenshot for your reference.

    Hope it will work. If it is not, please provide more information about your data and data model.

Data view → Select date column → Modeling ribbon → Sort by Column → choose proper date column (not text). Republish.
