I have a line and column clustered column chart. In my x axis is (MMM yyyy). In my column y axis is Planned value and actual cost. In my line y axis is Earned value. The ACTUAL cost data needs to stop at the same date as the last Earned Value line - can this be done?

    akhassim Your datamodel need to contains a Date field that is used as the X-axis, and that it is properly sorted in ascending order. And this date filed should be common to both the Earned value and Actual cost.

    To calculate a flag that determines whether to show the Actual cost data, you need to create calculated column in your data model. This column will be used as a filter in your visuals.

    ShowActualCost =
    IF (
    [Date] <= MAX ( 'YourTable'[Date] ),
    "Show",
    "Hide"
    )

    Create your line and clustered column chart as you said, with MMM yyyy on the X-axis and add planned Value and Earned value to the Clustered column Y-axis and add Actual cost to the same clustered column y- axis.

    By using showactualcost calculated column as a filter, you will control visibility of the Actual cost data based on the selected date. It will stop at the same date as the last Earned Value line.
