unable to write data to the transport connection an existing connection was forcibly closed

Hello

I am making my way through the EdX Power BI course but have hit an obstacle in that I can't publish anything to Power BI Service.

I always get "unable to write data to the transport connection an existing connection was forcibly closed".

I have tried a few different files, all of which were tiny so no size issues. I can log into Power BI Service online fine.

I've enabled tracing and get a very long traces file which is too long to post in the message here so this is the first bit. Any idea what it means?

What is your current situation?

The error message you posted is not helpful enough to explain the situation. By the way, what is your data source, and could you please share more details about the status when this error popped out?

Please take a try to close all Power BI Desktop instances, delete the old dataset and then publish it again.
