unable to group visuals

Please go to  File-->Options and settings-->Options -->CURRENT FILE -->Report settings ,enable the setting shown below:

@Anonymous , I tried the same(what you shown) with Ctril+click and right click and I got menu to group in latest version

Also, You can select two visual by ctrl + click and right click and group
