unable to connect from power bi desktop to my on as

I am avaluating power BI software as a BI tool for one of our projects.

I am trying to connect from Power BI desktop to mysql on AWS with server name and credentials I am using regularly from odbc connection. 

I get an error the user was not authorized.

I tried to switch to another user but still the problem occures.

Any Ideas?

Make sure you specify Database auth instead of Windows auth in the left hand side of the credentials dialog
