type in slicer criteria vs scroll and select

Hopefully I am missing something simple but I need to have a slicer field to narrow down the records on the dashboard that allows a user to enter a document number vs scrolling until they see the document number and selecting it.  Is this possible?

HI @PijushRoy I have a slicer formatted as a drop down which is based on record number.  Instead of clicking the drop down and scrolling through thousands of numbers, I would rather allow the user to type in the record number they desire.  It won't allow the "search" feature because the field is a number field and not a text.

I can change the slicer to the between style and it will let me type in the record number but I have to type it in twice which is redundant since they will only ever enter one record number.

This is slicer from App Source. This slicer by default allows you for search option in numeric field
It is free for normal slicer use

I guess that's an option but hard to believe one has to utilize a third party app for this.

the field is numeric so the search option doesn't show there.

Create a Duplicate column, changes datatpe as Text and use the column in Slicer
