Helper Vtweaking a measure
All,
I have a measure I'm using called AvgMoRevCurrYr which is:
AvgMoRevCurrYr = DIVIDE(CALCULATE(SUM('Acctg Revenue'[Revenue]), FILTER('Acctg Revenue', 'Acctg Revenue'[Date] < EOMONTH(TODAY(),-1))) , (MONTH(TODAY())-1), 0)
I use the above measure elsewhere, however I'd like to tweak this measure so it would do the following:
NEW MEASURE: AvgMoClosedRev
In a card visual, my CEO does not want to see the current month we are in as revenue gets accumulated throughout the month. Instead he wants to see up to and including the month previously closed.
For example, the month of July is closed, so the value shown on the card should only be reflective of January through end of July. When September 1st rolls in, August numbers would be added on the card value to reflect Jan-Aug.
Can someone help me tweak this DAX so the measure would perform as I've noted?

Ok that is honestly what I thought, so thank you for confirming for me.

To me, it looks like your AvgMoRevCurrYr measure already excludes the current month, so I'm not sure how the tweak is intended to behave differently.
