troubleshooting a visualization, It involves a map and a slicer.
here on the map, I clicked the country to get the number in the card to update. however, I want the slicer to update as well, where the check box for "United States" is also checked because I have the United States highlighted after clicking on the map. does anyone know how to connect these?

Being the slicer a filtering visualization you can only filter slicers with the filter pane or with other slicers, you are not abble to select data from a table or a chart and have the slicer being filtered.
One thing you cand do, you might try using a table visual (instead of a slicer visual) as your "slicer" and instruct users accordingly
